Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings in the app and tap Manage or cancel subscription. That opens your Apple subscription settings, where you can cancel in one tap.

Tiny Threads Premium is billed through your Apple ID, so cancelling is handled by Apple. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel it for you, and we never see your payment details.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and tap Delete account. You will be asked for your password to confirm.

This permanently removes your profile, your entries and your photos. If you share a family with someone else, their copy of the shared journal stays with them. Deletion cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel that separately in your Apple subscription settings, or you will keep being billed.

I forgot my password.

Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We will email you a link to choose a new password. It works for one hour. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, or write to tiny.threads.application@gmail.com.

How do I invite family members?

In Settings, under Invite family, copy your invite code and send it to them. They enter it when creating their account, or under Join another family.

My reminders are not appearing.

Reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device. Check that notifications are allowed for Tiny Threads in iOS Settings → Notifications, then confirm the reminders you want are switched on in the app under Settings → Reminders.

Who can see my photos?

Only the people in your family. Photos are stored privately and are never published to the open internet. We also remove the hidden location data your phone stores inside a photo before saving it. See the privacy policy.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Email tiny.threads.application@gmail.com and we will send you your content in a machine-readable format.
